to our Seminarian who will be with us this summer
Robert Kelly was born and raised in Mora NM, yet still struggles with learning Spanish.
He was homeschooled all the way until college, and for nine years worked restoring historical adobe buildings (mostly churches).
He got his associates in mathematics at Luna Community College in Las Vegas, NM before applying to be a seminarian for the Archdiocese of Santa Fe. He has been in formation for over five years,
and will (God willing) be ordained a priest in the spring of 2029.
He converted to Catholicism in adoration at the age of fourteen and felt the call to pursue the priesthood (exactly) ten years later when
assisting at a confirmation retreat when there were suddenly no priests to expose the Blessed Sacrament.
He is in Configuration II (meaning that he will be ordained a priest, God willing, in three
years) and his favorite hobbies are writing and arguing about theological, philosophical, and scientific minutiae.
Robert arrived last Monday, has already attended the Steubenville Conference with our youth, and is eager to meet the rest of the parish community.
Robert will be working on a Bible Study for parishioners. More information will be provided soon.

Anyone who has suffered from cancer who was a resident of New Mexico between 1945 - 1962.
Funds are available to help with costs and expenses associated with certain cancers.
There is a 2 year window to file your claims.

GREAT NEWS!
You will notice some new changes at some of the masses starting this weekend.
We have implemented the new Mayordomo System in our parish.
We now have one mayordomo, or a couple, at each church with the exception of San Antonio in Tajique where we have a person as communications.
We have leads for each ministry within the mayordomo umbrella.
Currently the following parishioners have volunteered to serve as Mayordomos:

Everyone serving in ministries is required to acquire a Virtus Training Certificate. Included in the process is a background check.
The Certificates are issued for 5 years. At the end of the 5 years it needs to be updated.
